Camp Nurse! Great Summer Job!

< ![CDATA[Camp Vega is one of the premier residential girls' camps in the Northeast. Ideally located on beautiful Echo Lake in Maine, we are situated on 300 acres of pristine forest and one mile of waterfront. Camp Vega is currently seeking RNs for the 2008 summer, June 16 to August 15, 2008. However, we can be slight flexible with these dates.

RN's perform the following duties at camp:

Caring for ill or injured campers and staff who are admitted to the Health Center.
Handling "health calls" throughout the day.
Sorting and dispensing medication to campers.
Responding to any "emergency" that may arise at camp.
Maintaining health logs for each camper and staff member.
Encouraging and promoting health maintenance and injury prevention.
Triage with fellow medical staff.
Working with our camp physician daily and physical therapist twice weekly.
